My expertise extends beyond teaching and singing—I also specialize in helping students land lead roles, solos, and high-level singing gigs. Outside of music, I enjoy being with my three kids, going to live shows, theater, gardening, and word games. As a proud member of NATS and CVTA, with certifications in BAST, Core Singing, and UMT, I'm committed to your musical growth. I'm also a Music Together Certified Teacher and a Musical Theater Youth Director. Let's reach new heights in your singing journey! 

Hey there! I'm a passionate performing songwriter skilled in acoustic and electric guitar. Together with my wife, Charlene, we've recorded albums and toured the country with our original music. Together, we opened The Musician’s Den studio, a welcoming space for musicians of all levels, fostering vibrant musical expression and community.

As an instructor, I love sharing my songwriting and music knowledge with aspiring guitarists of all ages. I specialize in popular music styles like Blues, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Reggae, Metal, and Folk.

My focus is on intermediate, advanced, and experienced guitarists, and I create a fun and enthusiastic environment while exploring new ideas and techniques. I tailor lessons to each student's taste and goals, fostering confidence.

Beyond music, I enjoy traveling, hiking, mountain biking, and golfing with my family. Charlene and I have three performing children and also share our home with two cats named Ringo and Cosmo.

Coach Drae, a seasoned musician, brings a unique blend of passion and expertise to his teaching. Starting his musical journey at twelve, he mastered guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums. Drae earned a bachelor's degree in guitar performance from the prestigious Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.

What sets Drae apart is his historic achievement at Musicians Institute, where he became the first to graduate with a master's degree. His expertise spans jazz, blues, metal, and pop, reflecting a teaching philosophy that transcends genre boundaries.

Drae places a strong emphasis on music theory and reading standard notation, ensuring a solid foundation. Yet, his primary focus is on creating a comfortable environment for students, making the musical journey about enjoying every note and rhythm.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance, Musicians Institute, Los Angeles.
• Historic Master's degree graduate from MI.
• Expertise in the history and development of British progressive rock.
• Versatility in teaching various genres: progressive rock, jazz, blues, metal, and pop.
• Strong emphasis on music theory and reading standard notation.
• Currently a member of two Denver rock bands.

Coach Joey offers students a dynamic music education experience, focusing on music theory, songwriting, and composition. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from IADT Tampa and 24 years of guitar study and performance, Joey brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching.

Joey provides instruction in acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, beginner piano, and beginner to intermediate drums. He also teaches contemporary voice, helping students develop their vocal skills in modern music styles.

Specializing in audio recording and production, Joey is proficient in DAWs such as GarageBand, Ableton, Cubase, Presonus Studio One, and Avid Pro Tools, covering all aspects of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.

Known for his patient and supportive teaching style, Joey ensures each student feels comfortable and confident. His extensive experience allows him to tailor lessons to individual needs and goals, making learning both fun and effective. He also emphasizes reading and writing music for a solid foundation in musical literacy.

Meet Coach Jack, an inspiring educator who draws from his extensive live performance background to guide and motivate his students towards fulfilling their dreams and setting meaningful goals.

For Jack, it's not just about teaching music; it's about instilling a genuine love for it.

Hailing from Denver, Jack is a confident and seasoned multi-instrumentalist. His impressive resume includes performing at renowned venues like The Gothic, The Bluebird, The Aggie, and many others across the country. Whether it's drums, guitar, or bass, Jack has the experience and passion to excel in any live setting. Discover your musical potential with Jack as your guide.

Ms Laurel ~ I believe music is a universal language that speaks to us all, transcending age and backgrounds. From heartwarming melodies to uplifting beats, it moves us in unique ways. 

As a Colorado native, my musical journey began at age 5 with the piano and continued as I sang with the Colorado Children’s Chorale by age 9. I've since traveled internationally with the Cast of Up With People and many other bands. Currently, I am an elementary music school teacher  in Castle Rock.

My goal as an educator is to help students find their own musical voices while appreciating the shared experience. Together, let's explore the world of music and self-expression.

Hi, I'm Ms Jessica! When you take classes with me, you embark on a journey filled with joy, discovery, and a deep appreciation for music. My upbeat and enthusiastic teaching style ensures that every lesson is both educational and fun. You will benefit from my extensive knowledge of practice methods, music theory, and my passion for sharing the love and joy of music.

Music has been a constant in my life, like a beloved family member. I participated in prestigious music programs in northeastern Ohio while attending Boardman High School and the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, where I earned my B.A. in Applied Music.

My experience includes teaching middle school music at Castle Rock Christian Academy, and many years of private and group lessons at multiple schools. I have performed with Kenny Loggins and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and have a rich history of professional performances in classical, pop, jazz, worship, and Latin genres.

Outside of music, I am a family-loving Italian, one of seven children, and have lived in Colorado since 2020. I am married with four children and a dog named Blue. In my free time, I love to exercise, read, cook, travel, and enjoy nights at home with my family.

Coach Ali is passionate about connecting with students and watching them grow as they play their first songs. She believes that students should play music they love and is dedicated to helping them break down songs and simplify them when needed.

Ali has been playing and studying drums for four years and has some experience with guitar, bass, ukulele, and singing. She is the lead drummer in a teen rock band, bringing a wealth of enthusiasm to her teaching.

Outside of teaching, Ali enjoys swimming on her high school swim team, lifeguarding, attending concerts, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends. She is also considering pursuing law school in the future.
