STUDIO POLICIES - SEMESTER SESSION

SEMESTER TUITION FOR PRIVATE LESSONS & GROUP CLASSES:
- Private Lesson Semester tuition: includes 16 weekly lessons distributed across the semester, accommodating differing month lengths and holidays. While some months feature 2-3 lessons and others 4-5, the total adds up to 16 private lessons.
- Group Class Semester tuition: includes 13 weekly classes distributed across the semester, accommodating differing month lengths and holidays. While some months feature 2-3 classes and others 4-5, the total adds up to 13 private classes.
- Payment options: You have the flexibility of either making an upfront payment or opting to split the tuition into five equal monthly installments (private lessons) or four equal monthly installments (classes) . By default, you'll be billed monthly, unless you inform us that you prefer to pay for the entire semester upfront.
- Monthly tuition is due before the student's first lesson/class of that month.
- Tuition will be pro-rated for late starters.
- Late Fee: A $25 late fee will apply for payments received after the 10th of the month.
- More than two late payments in a semester will require automatic billing setup.
LESSON PACK TUITION:
- Lesson packs must be used within the current semester purchased.
- No refunds or credits for unused packages or lessons.
- Lessons can be rescheduled with 24-hour notice.
- Semester benefits, events, and discounts do not apply to lesson packs.
HOLIDAYS:
- The studio will be closed during conventional school calendar breaks: Fall Break (one week), Thanksgiving week (one week), Winter Break (three weeks), Spring Break (two weeks, sometimes not back to back).
- The number of lessons/classes per month may vary; some months will have four or five, while others will have fewer. However, by the end of the semester, there will be a total of 16 private lessons or 13 group classes.
SEMESTER EVENTS:
- We offer least 2-3 studio events each semester: music workshops, open mic, karaoke, jams, community performance opportunities, and end-of-semester concerts (two per year).
CANCELED/MISSED LESSONS/CLASSES:
- Missed Private Lessons/Reschedules: Please provide as much notice as possible to reschedule; no payment refunds for missed lessons.
- Missed Group Lessons/Reschedules: Group classes missed by students won't be made up, but they can try out other classes if there's room.
- Discontinuing Lessons/Classes: At least 30-day notice required if unable to continue.
- Substitute Instructor: A substitute coach may be provided without notice if the assigned instructor is unavailable.
- Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption: Missed lessons due to uncontrollable events will be rescheduled without refunds.
POLICY CHANGES:
- Policies and procedures may change without advance notice. Check our website for updates.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE:
- We may use photos, short videos, or audio of students for promotion, identifying them only by first name. Notify us if you don't want your or your child's image to be used.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Students should not come to the studio if they have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID.
- Makeup lessons for illness can be rescheduled or conducted online.
